History
Catalyst was founded in 1990 by Mike Osborn and Jeff Cleary and is still independently owned and headquartered in Rochester, NY. We are a direct and digital marketing agency that helps our clients acquire, retain and develop long-term relationships with their customers. It’s no small feat, but we do it every day.
Catalyst has a history of keeping its clients ahead of the curve. In 2006, the agency acquired Equient, a leading analytics provider, to enhance its analytics capabilities. In 2007, Catalyst acquired Auragen Communications, one of the largest interactive agencies in the area.
In 2011, the agency experienced significant growth, largely fueled by the acquisition of some major new accounts, as well as incremental growth in existing accounts. Not too shabby.
